HISTORY:

Way Cool Music is the brainchild of Kendra Ostermeier and Kathy Janies.  After seeing each other many times at concerts around Chicago, they formed an unexpected friendship.

Their mutual love of music prompted many business ideas, most of which were dreamed up on road trips across the U.S. to experience live music firsthand.  Way Cool Music is the first of these ventures.  Stay tuned for more!

1.

What's the worst job you've ever had?

Working the Midnight to 4:00am shift at Perkins in Cedar Rapids, IA.  When the bars closed at 2:00am, it was pure chaos.  Some of the people were too drunk to tip, while others were too drunk to realize that they left a $10 tip on a $5 bill.  So, there were good aspects, but overall it sucked!

2.

What's your favorite movie or lyric quote?

"I gave her my heart and she gave me a pen."  John Cusack/Lloyd Dobbler from "Say Anything."

3.

Who would you want to star in the movie of your life?

Natalie Portman even though she looks nothing like me.

4.

What's your favorite TV theme song?

There are so many great ones that get stuck in my head throughout the day, but I'll go with The Facts of Life.

5.

If you were a superhero, what would your name be?

The Concert Enforcer.  I'll be fighting all the line-jumping, talking, annoying people in the crowd who have no respect for the artist or the audience.

6.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Memorable.

7.

Finally, why are there so many songs about rainbows?

There aren't a lot of songs about rainbows.  Kermit was high when he wrote that!
